Introspection in Retrospection

by

The upstream of joy and the downstream of gloom
The hymn of life but the sorrow stood
Surrounded by the sea, lush blue all along
Your shade of azure, the only entertainment I got
My boat is fast, my mast rigid and strong

My thoughts are determined
Anchor long went and off
I now search for answers in the sky
Not the fake reflection you show
Gannets sing for me the anklets roar
Can’t now resist the temptation
Do let me go
Here I stand trapped and strangled
Dragged by your selfish thrust
Let me cherish the glimpse of my lady
I never was and I’ll never be yours
You may wish but I won’t drown
Your waters are thirsty and adulterated 
Unknown to the hopes I have in the day
Ambitions powered by affection in night
Love, now that’s the voyage my heart craves
Dreams of lush green land
Rouge roses till the site expands
I’ll have your memory engraved on my walls
Wall of desires you never let flourish
Wall of emotions and belongings that you steal
I’ll build your memoir, till the day I die
You were Cruel but taught the lesson to survive
Smooth waves can never make a skilled sailor
The cruel you made me realize the importance of kind
Vast is your beauty
Still not near the power that denial resides
Let’s together close our eyes
Our affair will be eternal
Tomorrow With the fresh spring of sun
You’ll be all alone
A blanket of breeze, tides of Isolation
Accompanied by the screeching echo
Soon you’ll be a widow
As the tempest says goodbye

Finally, the mariner departs
Again for the Tyre that spins readily to be the boy with stick
